First, you can be sure everything I write about on this site or recommend you do in order to develop/increase your confidence – I personally do and apply to my life everyday.
Second, I live my life in a way that I hope will inspire and motivate you to take leaps of faith, step out of your comfort zones, and face your fears…if I’m not sharing enough, or you want to know more, be sure to let me know.
Third, I’m a Christian. I live a Christ centered life. God is the author of my adventures – I believe He has adventures planned for all His children. I respect other religions, but I only believe in one.
Fourth, I plan on having one heck of an adventurous year because that’s where God has led me. You’re not gonna want to miss it. There will be opportunities for you to join me, so if you’re committed to changing your life, and doing things you’ve never done before – you’re at the right place.
The adventure will begin in a couple of weeks when I head out to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. From Guatemala, I plan on traveling to other Central and South American countries.
All of my belongings have been placed in storage. I’ve been living with my parents the last few months, since I’ve returned from Germany…so I’m definitely ready to hit the road again.
I don’t speak Spanish…trying to learn some now using Duolingo on my phone. I’ll be traveling alone, and I’ll be seeking all kinds of outdoor activities to do.
I’ve done a lot of traveling in my life, but this trip will be the first of it’s kind. It will be the first time I’ll be on the road without a home base for an extended period of time. This is the kind of traveling that involves stepping out of MY comfort zones.
Brings me to the fourth thing to know about me…for me, having an adventure means traveling and being active. I love to hike, bike, kayak, and do anything that’s physically demanding. That doesn’t need to be the type of adventure you seek…what we define as an adventure defers for all of us. However, your definition of an adventure should take you out of your comfort zones, scare you a little, and in the end, be a lot of fun, no matter what it is for you.
Fifth, you’ll come to realize, I’m an introvert. A thrill seeker kind of introvert. An introvert on a mission to end boredom! I want people to have adventures, so they stop being so lame and boring.
You see, introverts need positive and meaningful stimulation when around people or they get super bored. I dream of a world filled with fascinating and adventurous people that have stories to tell. Let’s move beyond the small meaningless talk of the weather, t.v. shows, and gossip. I want to end my boredom by making others more enthralling. I mean it…make 2016 the year you decide to start living life and become interesting!
Finally, I’m easily accessible, you can find me on various platforms, sign-up to have a chat with me or email me. But only contact me if you’re serious about making changes, developing your confidence, and having adventures. I don’t like to waste my time. Time is too precious.
Start today. Go out and do something that pushes you out of your comfort zones
